The Rotoflex Range
My Theraposture Rotoflex bed has been so fantastic, it has changed my life. I can move from a seated to lying position with the aid of the rotating and profiling action of my bed which is superb – I could not live independently at home without it.
Rentals, refurbished beds & buy back options
As an OT with nearly 30 years of experience I can confidently say that the Rotoflex range of beds from Theraposture is my recommendation for those requiring a turning bed system.
Theraposture is an ethical and specialist company with Trusted Assessors that will only ever recommend appropriate equipment following an assessment of need. I always review all the assistive beds on the market to meet my clients needs, however Theraposture is often the best choice to ensure my clients benefit from increased independence, well-being and peace of mind.
Assistive products are hugely beneficial in promoting positive health and wellbeing and as a Healthcare Professional, I can recommend the award-winning Rotoflex 235 Mk2 bed in its ability to achieve this. Independence with bed transfers is a realistic and achievable goal with the Rotoflex.
The Rotoflex is recommended for clients with reduced range of movement in either upper or lower limbs and is of significant benefit for specific conditions such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. Parkinson’s clients can often experience ‘freezing’ when transferring from a bed hence Rotoflex profiling, rotation and variable height functionality aids a safe sit-to-stand.
In my opinion, the Rotoflex incorporates all other considerations to minimise risk of harm or injury in terms of moving and handling to both client and carers. The Rotoflex is a recommended solution for long term intervention.
A wide selection of specialist mattresses for the Rotoflex bed range
These are available when you purchase a new bed or can be upgraded retrospectively should your needs change.

Triple layer memory foam mattress
A quality memory foam mattress is supplied as standard with every Rotoflex apart from the Rotoflex Chair Bed EF which comes with a foam mattress.
The memory foam mattress perfectly profiles with the movement of the Rotoflex thanks to the patented unique fixing design.
Offering a low-to-medium degree of pressure redistribution, this mattress is suitable for people at a low-to-medium risk of developing a pressure sore. The cover is made from waterproof material and has a multi-directional stretch.
Theraposture offers a mattress using the proven Repose pressure relieving topper.
This mattress has three layers consisting of two foam sections covered with an inflatable Repose mattress.
It is suitable for users who require a medium level of pressure management. Theraposture offer a no cost option if supplied with a new or used Rotoflex.
RO-HO dry flotation mattress
This neoprene mattress is a zoned, advanced pressure relieving surface that is ideal for users requiring high levels of protection against pressure related issues – up to grade 4 (very high risk).
Each zone contains air cells that will adjust to meet the specific shape and size of a user’s body. With optimum presssure distribution across the whole mattress, tissue viability and circulation can be improved.
Rotoflex Alternating Air mattress
For those requiring a very high level of pressure redistribution, the Rotoflex is also available with an dynamic air cell mattress.
This mattress has been specially designed to be operational even when it is being rotated by the Rotoflex and is an alternative to the RO-HO system.
This specialist air mattress is not an option with the Rotoflex Chair Bed EF.
