There will be live demonstrations of the Rotoflex bed, which won the ‘Excellence in Caring’ Award at the Occupational Therapy Show, and the world’s only fully modular care cot, the Mascot Mk2.

The Rotoflex solution

Getting in and out of bed is a problem for many and the Rotoflex is often the solution. It is a patented, power-assisted adjustable bed that rotates to transfer users in and out of bed from a seated position to a lying position at the touch of a button. when sitting in the chair position the Rotoflex provides a safe and secure vertical lift, intentionally without tipping, so a controlled sit-to-stand can be achieved with no risk of being tipped out if not ready.

The Rotoflex is also the only rotating bed that can have a powered rising foot section so that the entire leg and foot will be supported when elevated – essential for reducing pressure and circulation issues and comfort. The Theraposture Rotoflex range includes a low access, a heavy duty, and wider models in a choice of finishes, so the widest bespoke choice on the market. Theraposture work in partnership with Parkinson’s UK and the MS Society and together provide assistance with the cost of their products.

Electrically adjustable cots

The electrically adjustable Mascot cot is equally as popular with families and Healthcare Professionals. It is fully adaptable to meet changing user needs so offers a solution for life. Negating the need to purchase new cots in the future should needs change. Because of the modular nature and the fantastic quality, the Mascot is the most cost-effective option whilst maintaining all the quality handcraftsmanship you would expect from the market leader. Steve and Glen will demonstrate the Mascot’s flexible functionality at AccessAbility alongside all their unique benefits.
